Mr. Zhai is a law professor and supervisor of postgraduates of Capital University of Economics and Business, and an arbitrator of Beijing International Arbitration Center/Beijing Arbitration Commission, arbitrator of Nanchang, Chongqing, Harbin, Hainan and other arbitration commissions, and a senior attorney-at-law.
Professor Zhai is also an honorary director of the IP Alumni Association of China University of Political Science and Law, an expert member of the Expert Advisory Committee of the Capital Intellectual Property Service Association, a specially invited expert of the Beijing Public Welfare Legal Service Research Center, an expert consultant of the Legal Service Volunteers Committee of the Chinese Volunteers Association, a director of the Beijing Bankruptcy Law Society, the Science and Technology Law Society and the Property Law Society, a member of the China Maritime Law Association, and a director of the Beijing Xinlian Mingyuan Owner Committee, At the same time, he served as legal adviser and independent director of many enterprises. He was a specially invited jury expert of Beijing Second Intermediate Court and the director of the Law Clinic of Capital University of Economics and Business.
Professor Zhai has been diligently put teaching and research results into legal practice, resulting into rich writings and many awards. He has published more than 60 papers in such authoritative and core journals as Guangming Daily (theoretical edition), Higher Education Research, Law, Politics and Law, Law Journal, Journal of Southeast University, Nanjing University Law Review, Journal of Henan University, Henan Social Sciences, Copycat Materials of Renmin University of China, Legal Daily. He has written many monographs, such as Supreme Court Case Review (Civil Volume), Research on Legal Issues of Prohibition of Competition, participated in the preparation of four textbooks, including Legal English and Economic Law Course, presided over eight school level projects, presided over and participated in six provincial and ministerial level and above projects, three horizontal projects, the moderator of the 2015 Beijing Social Science Fund project "Intellectual Property Risk and Response to 3D Printing Technology", the moderator of the 2018 implementation project of the Supreme People's Court, and the principal researcher of the national social science fund project "Research on Legal Countermeasures for Joint Prevention and Treatment of Air Pollution Regions". He won the second prize of Beijing Microcourse Competition, the second prize of the school's young faculty teaching basic skills competition, the second prize of the school's excellent teaching achievements and the first prize of the excellent teaching reform essay competition for case teaching, the outstanding teacher of Capital University of Economics and Business, and the educational innovation leader of Capital University of Economics and Business. He was granted "Scientific Research Achievement Award" and "Teaching Contribution Award" of the Law School in 2013, 2014 and 2015.
Professor Zhai has a wide range of interests, especially in sports, football and tennis. He is the left front of the teaching staff football team of Capital Economic and Trade University, the runner up in the school card game, the first place in the middle age group's 60m and 100m, the 4x100M ten consecutive championships, the 800m champion in the middle age group, and the 50 and 100m freestyle champion.
